Glenn Graybill Wilson age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born in Galax, Virginia on March 22, 1938 to Victor and Lura Edwards Wilson.
He is survived by his wife Loretta Musser Wilson of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Glenn, Jr. and Jackie Wilson of Marion, Virginia; William V. and Crystal Wilson of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister Rebecca Wilson of Galax, Virginia; brother S. Victor Wilson, Jr. of Hamptonville, North Carolina; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Galax Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 146, Galax, Virginia 24333 or to the Shriners Hospitals For Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607-1460.
