Glenn Hicks Testerman, Sr.  age 101 of the Carsonville Community, Independence, Virginia  passed away at his home on Saturday August 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Testerman was the son of William Brack and Missouri Angeline Anderson Testerman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-nine years Lorraine Burris Testerman; son Glenn, Jr.; daughter-in-law Mary Holderfield Testerman and two brothers Stuart Gale Testerman and Roy Carlton Testerman.

He is survived by his children and spouses Billy Odell and Betty Bedsaul Testerman of Galax, Virginia; Linda Testerman Waller; Kathy Elizabeth and Robert Asbury all of Independence, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Steve and Marcy Testerman; Scott Testerman; Anna Waller; great-grandchild Tori Testerman;  great-great-grandchild Bentley Shaw; special sister-in-law Imogene Burris McKinnon; several special nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family respectfully request no food please.
