Glenn Kyle Nichols age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 at his home.

Mr. Nichols was born on September 7, 1936 in Grayson County, Virginia to Glenn and Margie Higgins Nichols. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Wilma Sue Galyean Floyd; Lee Nichols; Ralph Nichols and Ray Nichols.

He is survived by his wife Reenee Nichols of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Sherry Hackler and Mike of Independence, Virginia; Mike Nichols and Torri; Mark Nichols and Thonia all of Galax, Virginia; Sheila Vicars and George of Fancy Gap, Virginia; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Galax Wesleyan Church with the Rev. John Hughey officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Galax Wesleyan Church.
