Glenn Owen Gunter age 82 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday January 11, 2023, in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Rev.  Gunter was born on February 25, 1940, in Fries, Virginia to Walter Glenn and Mary Dickens Gunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Kimberly Ann Davis.

He is survived by his wife Connie Gunter of Fries, Virginia, sons and daughter-in-law Jeffrey Gunter of Marion, Virginia; Mark and Sherry Gunter of Union Mills, North Carolina; sisters Louise Goad of Galax, Virginia; Pat Bennett; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Fries Baptist Church. There will be no service held at this time
