Glenda Faye Landreth age 71 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Faye was born in Wythe County, Virginia on March 23, 1950 to Ernest Burton and Laura Childress Sayers, Sr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Kyle (Robbie) Landreth;  sons Christopher (Chris) Landreth and Matthew (Matt) Landreth; brothers Russell Sayers and Junior Sayers.

Faye had a positive attitude because of her faith in God. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She was an outgoing woman and she and Robbie enjoyed visits at the beach with Chris and Matt when they were young. Faye was a faithful employee at Hill's Coal and Trucking.

She is survived by sisters and brother-in-law Dorothy Settles and Brenda McRoberts both of Severville, Tennessee; Shirley Russell; Wanda and Rodney Hall all of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Donald and Melba Sayers of Washington, North Carolina; Howard and Shirley Sayers of Fries, Virginia; sister-in-law Sharon Sayers of Wytheville,, Virginia; several nieces and nephews, special friend Carrie Avelar.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Providence Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Stanley officiating. There will be no visitation.

Faye's family and friends love and miss her but know she is in heaven with her husband and boys.
