Glenda Dell Funk's Obituary
Glenda Dell Christman Funk age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at her home.
Glenda was born on June 11, 1948 in Galax, Virginia to Charles Thomas and Donna Lee Lyons Christman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Lawrence Funk and a daughter Melissa Funk.
She survived by two daughters Mary Newman and Kim Iroler both of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Freedom and David Leath; Summer and Jamie Brewer; Heidi Rodrigquez;; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Blue Ridge Chapel Church with Pastor David Moore; Pastor Mark Mays and Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. . Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Union Baptist Church Cemetery at Baywood. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Blue Ridge Chapel Church.
