Gladys Marylene Cruise age 96 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Cruise was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 13, 1917 to Yancey Burton Hall, Sr. and Maude Mitchell Hall.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Alta and Carol Vaughn; Shirley and Leonard Marshall all of Woodlawn, Virginia; Marie and Richard Sullivan of Pageland, South Carolina; son and daughter-in-law J.B. and Beth Cruise of Galax, Virginia; sisters Guyda Hedrick; Maudelene Cochran both of Roanoke, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Y.B. Hall, Jr. and Sue of Woodlawn, Virginia; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one nephew.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Leonard Marshall, Pastor Ron Hill and Pastor D.G. Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
