Gilmer Otis Sizemore age 95 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 in the Commonwealth Senior Living in Hillsville, Virginia.

Mr. Sizemore was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 22, 1926 to Carl A. and Lela Burnett Sizemore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Alma Ruth Ingersoll Sizemore.

He is survived by a sister Doris Martin of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Mark Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
