Gertrude Gardner Quiett's Obituary
Gertrude Gardner Quiett age 103 of Warren, New Jersey passed away Saturday, October 23,2010 at her home.
Mrs. Quiett was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 1, 1907 to Sanders Byrd and Nancy Robinson Gardner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter Evelyn Phipps.
She is survived by a daughter Shirley Johnson of Warren, New Jersey; half sisters Betty Jo Griffin of Hillsville, Va.; Ruth Edwards and Faye Gardner Byrd both of Deland, Florida; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Gloria Lancaster Rhudy officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
