Geraldine Todd Beamer, age 88, of Galax, VA, died Wednesday, Oct. 25,2017 at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Hillsville, VA.

Mrs. Beamer was born Dec. 03, 1928 in Grayson County, VA to George Washington Clark Todd, Jr. and Ruth McMickle Todd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wright Beamer and a son, Ricky Clark Manning.

She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth and David Williams, Galax, VA, grandchildren; Corey & Veronica Williams, Molly Williams, Sarah Williams & Missy Manning Lee. Four great-grandchildren, also, survive.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel, Galax, VA. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Terri Johnson-Gregory and the Rev. Mark Kilbourne.
