Georgie Belle Dickens Eastridge age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday at the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Eastridge was born on August 18, 1931 in Carroll County, Virginia to John William and Abbie Edith Semones Dickens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Freeda Rector and Flora Aldred.

She is survived by her husband Curtis Clyde Eastridge; one son Steven C. Eastridge; brother and sister-in-law J.C. and Peggy Dickens all of Galax, Virginia; one special niece Janice Martin  and one special nephew Dennis Aldred; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Pete Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery at Fancy Gap, Virginia. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family repectfully request donations be made to the Semones Cemetery Fund, 2962 Fancy Gap Highway, Hillsville, Virginia 24343.

The family request those attending the funeral service to wear a mask.
