Georgia Almaira Isom Lineberry age 94 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Lineberry was born in Galax, Virginia on September 5, 1922 to Lonnie Creed and Mae Sawyers Catron Isom. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Bernard Lineberry and grandchildren Michael McBride and Sonya Lineberry.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Billy Johnson; sons and daughter-in-law Danny Lineberry; Ronnie and Cindy Lineberry all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Bernie Lineberry; Stacy Lineberry; Chris and Cassie Lineberry; Debbie and Donnie Robinson; Mark & Wendy McBride; Lisa & Bo Hubbard; Chad & Andi Johnson; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Annabelle Bunn and Edith Gravley both of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Stuart and Ruby Isom of Walkertown, North Carolina; Albert Isom of Fieldale, Virginia; Raymond Isom of High Point, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Theron Phillips and the Rev. Ron Fredericks officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family is gathering at the home of Nancy and Billy Johnson, 198 Shadetree Lane Galax, Virginia.
