George Nathaniel Hester's Obituary
George Nathaniel Hester age 75 of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Hester was born on November 23, 1935 in Grayson County, Virginia to Wilmer Hudson and Aleen Fielder Hester.
He is survived by his wife Lucille Hester of Fries, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Joey Trimble of Fries, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Greg and Beth Hester of Westminister, Maryland; sister and brother-in-law Sara and Joe Lindsey of Galax, Virginia; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:30 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Carico Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to either Bible Baptist Church or Fries Rescue Squad.
