George Roger Cornett's Obituary
George Roger Cornett better known as Roger Cornett age 68 of Cana, Virginia passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home.
Roger was born on February 26, 1949 in Grayson County, Virginia to Straley Hicks and Mammie Elizabeth Anderson Cornett.
He is survived by a daughter Amanda Rose Cornett and a son Joshua Cornett both of Oregon; granddaughter Journey; three nieces Susan Hawks; Kaye Holdaway and Elizabeth Duplisea; nephews James Holdaway and Sam Cornett; several great nieces and great nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. At the request of Roger his body will be cremated after the funeral service.
