Infant Gensen Eugene Hawks passed away Wednesday morning in Twin County Regional Hospital.

He is survived by his mother & step-father Brandy Renee Hawks & Keith Lloyd Byrd; sisters Kayden Grace Byrd & Karlee Faith Byrd; brother Dakota Cheyenne Bourne all of Galax, Va.; maternal grandmother & step-grandfather Teresa Elizabeth Simpson & David Lee Simpson; maternal grandfather Mickey Omar Moxley all of Galax, Va.; great-grandmothers Virginia Gretchen Tate & Frances Madeline Moxley both of Galax, Va.; several aunts; uncles & cousins; godfather David Lee Simpson II of Galax, Va..

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 26, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Ronny Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:30 until 2:30 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
