Geneva Lee Long Anderson, 56, of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Novant Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.  Geneva was born in Los Angeles, California on June 18, 1965.  She was preceded in death by her mother Marian Robinson and mother-in-law Alice Anderson.

Geneva is survived by her husband Mike Anderson of the home; son and daughter-in-law Tyler Lee and Kelsey Newman of Mechanicsville, Virginia; and brother William "Billy" Moretz of Belgium.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 3:00 PM at the Galax First United Methodist Church with Rev.  Mark McFadden officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery, Hillsville, Virginia.  The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 PM until time for the service
