Geneva Amburn Cochran, age 95, of Galax, Virginia passed away on September 10, 2024 in her home.

Geneva was born on February 7, 1929 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Emmett and Ethel Williams Amburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Horace A. Cochran, son Horace Allen Cochran Jr., sisters Louise Bedsaul and Mary Long.

She is Survived by her daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Ike Cruise of Galax, Virginia, special niece Teresa Boyle of Florida, and nephew Larry Bedsaul of Galax, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held on Friday September 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Felts Cemetery with Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation.
