Geneva Darnell Bourne age 90 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center

Mrs. Bourne was born on June 2, 1933, in Grayson County, Virginia to William Charlie and Rose Elizabeth Johnson Darnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Phipps Bourne and a nephew Michael Darnell.

She is survived by her daughter Tildy Bourne of Fries, Virginia; nieces and spouses Teresa and David Edwards; Linda and Mark Nuckolls all of Independence, Virginia; Mary and Elbert Gravely of Fries Virginia; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
