Gayle Swanson Daugherty age 66 of Fries, Va. passed away Tuesday January 9, 2007 in North Carolina Baptist Hospital. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 22, 1940 to the late Thomas Clifton & Mary Elizabeth Jackson Daugherty. He is survived by his wife Frances Dixon Daugherty of Fries, Va.; daughter & son-in-law Cheryl & Jeff Duncan; son & daughter-in-law Richard & Tammy Daugherty all of Monroe, N.C.; sister-in-law
Gloria Daugherty of Denver, N.C.; seven grandchildren. The visitation & funeral service will be held Saturday January 13,2007 from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Lacy King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
