Gary Reece Wilson age 73 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at his home.

Gary was born on November 2, 1942 in West Virginia to Reece Jefferson and Twila Virginia Lilly Wilson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Zina Wilson and father-in-law Warren C. Lineberry.

He is survived by his wife Loretta Sue Lineberry Wilson of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughters Debbie Wilson of Galax, Virginia; Tammy Harvey of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Sherrie Wilson of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Linda W. and Johnny Osborne of Ennice, North Carolina; Brenda Wilson of Trap Hill, North Carolina; mother-in-law Doris Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; brother-in-law Lucian Lineberry of Woodlawn, Virginia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Bill Daniel and the Rev. Jeffery Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
