Gary Duane Parks age 60 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his home.

Gary was born in Galax, Virginia on February 19, 1960 to Elbert and Lillian Parks. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shelia W. Parks and two brothers Gary Parks and J.L. Parks.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Zandra Parks Houk and Bobby of Fries, Virginia; a brother and sister-in-law Bradley Lyon and Endee of Wichita, Kansas; several nieces and nephews and special friend Ronnie Bennett of West Virginia.

A private graveside service will be held in the Comers Rock Cemetery.
