Gary Allen Freeman's Obituary
Gary Allen Freeman age 70 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Freeman was born in Grayson County, Virginia on December 22, 1941 to Elmer Luther and Barbara Susan Shupe Freeman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Vickie Funk.
He is survived by his daughter Susie Elaine Freeman of Atlanta, Georgia; sons Stephen Allen Freeman of Atlanta, Georgia; Gary Duane Freeman of Williamsburg, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Joyce and Ernie Funk; Faye and Charles Spraker all of Fries, Virginia; Judy Culverhouse of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; brothers and sisters-in-law Mike and Dolores Freeman; Darrell and Phyllis Freeman all of Fries, Virginia; Howard (Russ) Anders of Kernersville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 4:00 PM in the Atkins Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Anders officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family request no food or flowers but donations be made to the Fries Fire Department or Rescue Squad.
