Garfield Thompson's Obituary
Garfield Thompson age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem,
North Carolina.
Mr. Thompson was born in Grayson County, Virginia on December 30, 1930. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie Joe Brown.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Carol Dean Brown of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; Clarissa and James A. Proctor, Jr. of Dixon, Missouri; two sons and a daughter-in-law Fredrick Davis of Alexandria, Virginia; Alan and Wilma Kyle of Galax, Virginia; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the McMillan Ministries with Evangelist Clarissa Proctor and Bishop Sue Greene officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
