Galen Lamar Sharp age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday November 10, 2022 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Galen was born on February 24, 1959 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Marler Don and Savilla Kathlene Williamson Sharp.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Jean Webb Sharp of Galax, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Skyler Sharp of Woodstock, Virginia; India and Travis Warden of Pulaski, Virginia; five grandchildren Jacob Sharp; Kari Warden; Tayen Warden; Hera Warden; Thomas Warden; sisters and brothers-in-law Marlene and Jimmy Austin; Shelia Sharp and Ken Hundley all of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law George and Jill Sharp of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:30 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Ronnie Isom officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
