G. Rudolph McBride age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. McBride was born in Virginia on June 10, 1934 to Charles Winton and Hazel Payne McBride. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Christeen McBride and children Jeff McBride; Stevie McBride and Debra K. Frost.
He is survived by his daughter Vanessa McBride of Galax, Va.; brother Rev. Roscoe McBride of Inverness, Florida; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends Mike and Jeanie Webb.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Roscoe McBride and Pastor Roger Frost officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
