Freida Lindsey Patton age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 3,2010 in Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs.Patton was born on April 27, 1925 in Carroll County, Virginia to Ernest & Malesia Reynolds Lindsey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Lee Patton.

She is survived by a sister & brother-in-law Sue Lindsey Higgins & Jack; brothers & sisters-in-law Ivan & Mintie Ann Lindsey; Ray & Brenda Lindsey all of Galax, Va.; sisters-in-law & spouse Brenda Kemp Lindsey of Hillsville, Va.; Dawn Patton; Senia & Max Hall all of Fries, Va.; several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm in the chapel with Dr. Tom Whartenby officiating. Burial will be Friday, February 5, 2010 at 10:00 am in Monta Vista Cemetery.
