Fredia Faye Holloway Joines age 91 of Galax, Va. passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center. Mrs. Joines was born in Alleghany County, N.C. on January 6, 1918 to Bert & Rosa Victoria Edwards Holloway. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Fred Joines and a grandson Tommy Nadeau. She is survived by her daughter Gail Joines Nadeau of Abingdon, Va.; brother Fred Holloway of Virginia Beach, Va.; grand-daughter-in-law Jamie Nadeau of Galax,Va.; great- grandchildren Katherine Nadeau and Cecilia Nadeau. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 1,2009 at 2:00 pm in Monta Vista Cemtery with Rev. Camet Spivey officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:45 until 1:45 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
