Freddie Sue Tompkins Crouse age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday November 9, 2022 at her home.

Sue was born in Galax, Virginia on August 30, 1954 to Julian Mac and Annie Lee Ward Tompkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Wiley Ray Yonce.

She is survived by her son  William Travis Crouse  of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law  Audrey and Charlie Wright of the Baywood Community, Galax, Virginia; Vicky Yonce of Sylvatus, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Mack and Ginny Tompkins of Pulaski, Virginia; Porky Yonce of Fries, Virginia; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:30 PM in the Pine Mountain Cemetery with the Rev. Ginny Tompkins and the Rev. Dale Ward officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
