Freddie Lee Kirby, age 90, of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday March 15, 2024 in his home.

Freddie was born on March 11, 1934 in Fries, Virginia to the late Marshall and Mae Hart Kirby. He was also preceded in death by his son Timothy "Tim" Kirby.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Kirby; son Barry Kirby of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; as well as several nieces, nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726. Special thanks to the Fries Fire Department for providing pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
