Freddie Wayne Galyean

Freddie Wayne Galyean age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026 at his home.

Freddie was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 9, 1950 to Charles Clifford and Helen Caudle Galyean.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Charles and Kim Galyean of Galax, Virginia; Dereck and Vanessa Galyean of Independence, Virginia; step-mother Mitzi Galyean; sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Larry Thompson; brothers and sisters-in-law Nelson and Linda Galyean; Mike and Sandra Galyean all of Galax, Virginia; one grandchild Liam Galyean; one step-grandchild Tori Galyean; several nieces and nephews; special friend Sandra Felts.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Galyean Cemetery with the Rev. Skyler Lawson officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
