Freddie Otto Alley, Jr. age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Alley was born on July 21, 1938 in Carroll County, Va. to Freddie Otto & Lou Zenna Taylor Alley.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Alley; daughter Debbie Ann Frazier; sons Marvin Dale Alley & Robert Otto Alley all of Galax, Va.; sisters Thelma Hall & Juanita Shumate both of Galax, Va.; Susan Melton of Hillsville, Va.; brother Roger Dale Alley of Galax, Va; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 5,2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bobbie Burcham officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Fries, Va.. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
