Fred Hale's Obituary
Fred Hale age 70 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Fred was born on November 20, 1940 in Grayson County, Virginia to Gwyn and Lillian Crigger Hale.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Hale; son and daughter-in-law Eric and Sharon Hale all of Galax, Virginia; granddaughter Lexi Hale; nieces Mary Ann Harvich and Mary Elizabeth Simmons; nephews Stuart Testerman and Victor Jackson; several great nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:30 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
