Franklin Eugene Moore, age 66, Fries, VA, died Nov. 10, 2017 in the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem, NC.

Mr. Moore was born May 13, 1951 in Ashville, NC to Elmer and Margaret Haynes Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers & sisters: Junior Moore, Nancy Reed, Jenny Williams, Emmett Moore, Vera Copeland, James Moore and Sanders Moore.

Jarrett & Cathy Moore, Statesville, NC, Philip & Brandi Moore, Max Meadows, VA; Grandchildren, Blaine Melton, Parker, Bryant, Brady, Aaron & Brennan Moore; Brothers & sister-in-law, Peary & Becky Moore, Fries, VA, Steve Moore, Denver, CO; Sisters & Brother-in-law,Liz & Dale Anderson, Fries, VA, Judy Lawson, Fries, VA; Sisters-in-Law, Zenith Moore, Fries, VA, Pat Moore, Charleston, SC, Several Nieces & Nephews. He will be missed by his dog, Bubba, his faithful companion,
and loved coaching kids & left a lasting impression in their lives, He was an avid football and baseball player and willingly served his community as a fireman, coach and minister.

A celebration of his life service will be held Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Hope United Methodist church with burial to follow in the Mt. Hope Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour preceding the funeral service at the church. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Bill Linkous and Steve Alderman.
