Franklin David Liddle's Obituary
Franklin David Liddle age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Franklin was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina on September 29, 1947 to J. Kemper Liddle, Sr. & Eula Davis Liddle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Chris Liddle.
He is survived by his wife Judy Bobbitt Liddle; daughter and son-in-law Krystal and David Brewer; son Kevin Liddle; grandsons Tyler Brewer and Corey Brewer all of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Rebecca and Ralph Williams of Salem, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law J.K. Liddle; Dale and Margaret Liddle; Joe and Linda Liddle all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law and husband Sharon and Junior Leonard of Fries, Virginia; special friend Johnny Weatherman of Galax, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until service time at Mt. Vale United Methodist Church. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Mt. Vale Cemetery Fund.
