Franklin D. Leagans age 66 of Fries, Va. passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 at Kinred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.. Frank was born on May 16, 1942 in Grayson County, Va. to Hobert William & Anna Lee Guynn Leagans. He is survived by his wife Wanda Marie Leagans of Fries, Va.; sons & daughter-in-law Robert Leagans of Fries, Va.; Steven & Anna Leagans of Galax, Va.; sister Imogene Pearman of Greensboro, N.C.; three grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 12, 2008 at 3:00 pm in Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Grace Baptist Church.
