Franklin Delnor Coleman's Obituary
Franklin Delnor Coleman age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Coleman was born in North Carolina on September 22, 1933 to John Earl and Artie Roberts Coleman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Wesley Coleman.
He is survived by his wife Sue Coleman of Galax, Va.; daughters and son-in-law Terri Rittwage, Joan Burcham, Jean Alley, Cathy and Greg Fields all of Galax, Va.; brothers and sister-in-law Joe Coleman, Nelson and Edna Coleman all of Galax, Va.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several special friends.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Beech Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Carico and Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Monday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
