Frank Lee Robinson, Jr  70, passed away Monday July 2, 2018 at Common Wealth Assisted Living in Hillsville, Virginia.

Frank was born in Galax, Virginia on July 15, 1947 to the late Celia Kathleen Carter and Frank Lee Robinson. He was preceded in death by his special mother Ms. Ozelle Kyle.

Frank graduated from Scott Memorial High School in Wytheville, VA.  He then served in the US Army. After his military service, he worked as a CNA  for over 20 years. He was known as an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan as well as enjoying tennis and basketball.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Carolyn "Sue" Robinson of Galax,  Daughter and Daughter in law Dorytha "Dodie" Robinson and Leta Robinson of Cary, NC, Son Scott Robinson and Fiancé April Youngblood of Fries, VA, Brother Blake Carter of Galax, VA. Brother and Sister in law Willie "Bug" Greene and Reverend Sue Greene, Foster sons Jamar (Kelly) Bryson of Cary, NC, Josh Bryson, Galax, VA, Adopted sisters Mae Wise, Wilma Jean Kyle, Phyllis Johnson, Belaine Gilliard, and Lydia Campbell. Singing partner, Road dog, and Cousin Archie Nowlin.

Grandchildren-Layla Sessoms, Autumn Elledge, Christian Robinson, Gabe Leonard, Lesley Duncan, Ryan Duncan, Aidan Bryson and 3 great grandchildren.

A host of friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, and God children.

The family will receive family and friends Friday July 6 ^th from 6pm-8pm in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. The funeral service will be held Saturday July 7 ^th , at 1:00 PM at McMillian Ministries 1205 S Main St, Galax, Virginia.  Interment will follow in the Monta Vista Memorial Gardens in Galax.

The Family will have repass at Methodist Church 127 Calloway Street, Galax, VA 24333 following the graveside service.
