Frank Coy Diamond age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Diamond was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 7, 1932 to Coy and Velva Hawks Diamond.

He is survived by his wife Patsy South Diamond; son Frank Coy Diamond, Jr. both of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Rowena and Noe Green of Woodlawn, Virginia; Ruby Thornton of Independence, Virginia; Loretta Diamond of Galax, Virginia; Phyllis and Kevin Leonard of Abingdon, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Dale and Brenda Diamond of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the Rev. James Cowley officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
