Frank Duncan DeVault, 86, of Willis, Virginia passed away August 9 at his home. Born February 2, 1936, in Ararat, VA, he was the son of the late Frank Shields DeVault and Isabelle Duncan DeVault.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jacquelyn, daughters Sherri (Bruce) Brumfield of Christiansburg, VA and Dana McIntyre of Conroe, TX, grandsons Logan Huff of Christiansburg, VA and Alex McIntyre of Conroe, TX, granddaughter Illiana McIntyre of Conroe, TX, brother Joe (Jerri) DeVault of Axton, VA and sister Princess (Benny) Davis of Woodlawn, VA; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Frank was a graduate of the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Apprentice School and was a nuclear field service engineer with Westinghouse until his retirement. He was an avid NASCAR fan and classic car collector. Frank never met a stranger and he was a wonderful husband, father, papa and friend.

The visitation will be from 1PM until 2PM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in Galax on Sunday August 14. Directly following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held conducted by Chris Harmon, Jr. Interment will follow in Woodlawn cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice Hillsville, VA.
