Frank Bruce Carter age 93 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday January 3, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Carter was born in Carroll County, Virginia on December 3, 1928 to Bruce and Lola Kirby Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twelve sisters and brothers.

He is survived by his wife Edith Virginia Cox Carter of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Patsy and David Edwards of Palm Springs, California; sons and daughters-in-law Frank Alan and Katie Carter of Galax, Virginia; David Lewis and Lynn Carter of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; brother Donald Grey Carter of Galax, Virginia; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the River Hill Christian Church with Pastor Eddie Easter  officiating. Burial will follow in the River Hill Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the church. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the River Hill Cemetery Fund.
