Frances Roberta Walker age 70 of Galax, Va. passed away Wednesday October 11, 2006 in Waddell Nursing Home. She was born on May 25,1936 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Johnnie I. and Ora Goodson Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving brother, Don Walker. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Judy & Gary Delp of King, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Betty Walker of Galax, Va.; four nephews, three great-nieces and
four great-nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday October 13, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ernie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Fishers Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:30 until 11:00 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Fishers Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
