Frances Bunn Vaught, age 84, of Woodlawn, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025.

Frances was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 2, 1941 to Roncie and Pearl Melton Bunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Darrell Martin, whose memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Frances was a woman of great warmth, kindness, and quiet strength. She was the devoted wife of David Vaught, and her life was enriched by the deep love she shared with her family.

In addition to her husband David, she is survived by her children, David Martin (and wife Carol) and Sandra Martin; her grandchildren, Brandy Charette and Michelle West (and husband Adam); and her great-grandchildren, Brayden, Zack, and Katelyn. She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Hess and Charlotte Bevil, who shared a lifetime of love and memories with her; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ronny Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her faith, and the love she poured into everyone around her. Her kindness and grace will continue to live on through all who knew her.
