Frances Odean Roberts age 82 of Galax, Va. passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2008 in Waddell Nursing Home. Miss Roberts was born on May 19, 1926 in Carroll County, Va. to Kenny & Clyde Roberts. She is survived by her brothers Warren Roberts of Danville, Va.; Duma Roberts of Fries, Va.; several nieces & nephews; special friend Evonne Roberts Woodie of Independence, Va.. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Galax City Cemetery with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 until 1:45 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
