Frances Lou Savage Redd age 90 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in the Hillsville Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Redd was born on September 4, 1934 in Carroll County, Virginia to Dewey and Hallie Christley Savage. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James W. Redd; infant daughter Sherry Jo Redd; grandson Jeremy Andrue Bowers; brothers Clarence Savage and Joseph Savage.

She is survived by her children and spouses Connie and Terry Vaughan of Woodlawn, Virginia; Bonnie and Dallas Bowers of Galax, Virginia; Barbara and Greg Wilson of Fries, Virginia; James Randy and Brenda of York, South Carolina; six grandchildren Amanda Delp;  Patrick Wilson (Ali); Benjamin Wilson (Njeri); Emily Carico (Chris); Kenton Bowers (Katie); Carrie Vaughan; nine great-grandchildren Katelyn Delp; AJ Delp; Evelyn Bowers; Hannah Burchett; Emma Wilson;Abby Wilson; Katie Wilson; Malik WIlson and McKenna Wilson;  several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Christ Chapel with  Pastor Terry Vaughan officiating.  Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Christ Chapel.
