Frances Rakes Carrico better known as Frankee Carrico age 79 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Sunday June 19 ^th at her home.

Frankee was born on August 12, 1942 to Bill and Hazel Rakes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Dick" Carrico; daughter Cindy Roberts; sister Roberta Mabe and a brother Paul Rakes.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Deana and Robin Case; son-in-law Rodney Roberts all of  Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Taylor Case; Derek Case; Allison Shockley and Jacob Roberts; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Frankee was a beautiful soul who loved Jesus. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend ,an artist and a Girl Scout. She gave of herself to her family, neighborhood, church and community. She loved life and lived it fully.

The family will celebrate her extraordinary life on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Fellowship Church in Woodlawn, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time for the service at the Blue Ridge Fellowship Church.
