Frances Kaye Holdaway, age 62, of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday September 1, 2023 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Frances was born on January 24, 1961 in Galax, Virginia to the late Grayson and Mary Alice Cornett Holdaway. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Aiden Hayes.

She is survived by her daughters and fiancés Stephanie Burnett and Jonathan Gatewood of Fries, Virginia, Amber Burnett and John Shaffner of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Miranda Holdaway of Fries, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Susan and Buttons Hawks of Cana, Virginia; brother Rocky Holdaway of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren Alexander Edwards, Jayna Hayes and two special grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
