Frances Irene Higgins Bottomley's Obituary
Frances Irene Higgins Bottomley age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Bottomley was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 27, 1930 to Andrew Jackson and Nannie Lou Payne Higgins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Omar Eugene Bottomley.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Gloria and David Fowler of Galax, Virginia; Dianne and Larry King of Roanoke, Virginia; three grandchildren Stacy Horton, Josh Fowler and Dylan King; one great-grandchild Natalie Fowler; sisters-in-law Elaine Higgins and Mary Ruth Frost both of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Bishops Chapel Church Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
