Frances Ealnor Higgins' Obituary
Frances Ealnor Ayers Higgins age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Higgins was born on December 9,1940 in Carroll County, Virginia to Boyd and Jettie Mooney Ayers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters and brothers-in-law Helena and Alvin Frost; Betty and James Gardner; brothers and sister-in-law Robert and Christine Ayers; James, Bolen, Whitt, Fleming Charles "FC"; Roy and Dean Ayers and a sister-in-law Judy Higgins.
She is survived by her husband Joe R. Higgins of Galax, Virginia; special companion "Punkin"; sisters-in-law Eskie Ayers of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Hazel Ayers of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother-in-law Frank Higgins of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13,2016 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
