Frances Pearl Edmonds' Obituary
Frances Pearl Parks Edmonds age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Edmonds was born in West Virginia on August 28, 1925 to James Claude & Zina Testerman Parks. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Nelson Edmonds and daughters Barbara Poole and Carol Elizabeth Edmonds.
She is survived by her daughter & son-In-Law Patsy & Larry Smith; son & daughter-in-law Jimmy & Denise Edmonds all of Galax, Va.; son-in-law Ronald Poole of Low Gap, N.C.; brother & sister-in-law J.C. & Betty Parks of Princeton, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; special family friend Mark Sanderford.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Kenny King and Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
