Frances (Pedie) Crigger Davis age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Pedie was born on September 23, 1943 in Wythe County, Virginia to Marvin and Frances Feaganes Crigger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Bobbi Martin.
She is survived by her husband John K. (Buddy) Davis; step-daughter and husband Diane and Bill Beamer; sisters-in-law Judy Hackler and Betty J. Davis all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friends Peggy Tolbert and Barbara Thompson.
The funeral service will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Gladeville United Methodist Church with Rev. John Grimm officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at Gladeville United Methodist Church.The family is gathering at the home of Judy Hackler, 1022 Glendale Road Galax, Virginia.
